Pardee Park - Palo Alto
Pardee Park located at Center Drive and Channing Avenue is a 9.6 acre park making it the second largest neighborhood park in Palo Alto. Two separate children's play areas, a skating rink, both level and mounding grass areas, a picnic area and a community garden are at the park. The park is named after the daughter, who died at the age of 15, of Emily Eliot Pardee Karns Dixon who donated her 10 acre property and house to the city of Palo Alto in 1920 so that a park could be created in her daughter's memory.

The larger playground is at the corner of Center and Channing.

The large playground has many structures for the children to play on.

The smaller playground is also near Channing but towards the east of Center.


The picnic area has several barbecues.

The skating rink.

The community garden area is fairly large, roughly four acres.
