Rinconada Park - Palo Alto
Rinconada park is a 19 acre multipurpose park located at 777 Embarcadero Road between Newell and Middlefield. The Palo Alto municipal swimming pools (lap and recreational) are located here. Tennis courts, a multipurpose concrete bowl, children's playgrounds, picnic area, public restroom, paths and benches are all part of the park. The children's museum and zoo, the children's library, and the Lucie Stern Community Center are located near the northwest corner of the park.
A large Coast Live Oak was moved from 819 Ramona Street to the playground's sand area in 2003.
